In a recent interview with MTV, Mark Wahlberg was asked whether his time with the Transformers movie franchise had concluded. Wahlberg announced he had committed to making additional films in the series, and went on to reference "Mr. Bay" when vaguely alluding to going back to work. We can expect to see a return of Cade Yeager, but whether this also indicates Michael Bay has (again) agreed to direct after saying he was moving on or if Wahlberg is simply misinformed about the current state of affairs remains to be seen.
