In a recent update Play With This Too announced some details of their "Play With This All" and "Play With Just The Figures" pledge levels on their Lost Protectors Kickstarter.

If they end up making the minimum level for funding, but don't unlock a lock of stretch goals, they are offering people who pledged for these levels to get many low cost figures, which they can use to army-build, resell, or customize.

With just over two days left, please keep in mind there is usually a 48 hour surge in pledges and backers. That being said, we want to make ensure everyone feels comfortable with their pledge amounts and receive enough product to make their pledges worth it.

For the $900 Play With It All option, if the Kickstarter succeeds but does not unlock stretch goals, we will provide the following for backers at this level:

Desolataur figure x3
Bloodbath figure x3
Catastropheles figure x3
Kickstarter Exclusive Bitemark figure x6
Kickstarter Rare Exclusive Calaminous Haagenti x8
Tech Drone Two-Pack with D-Fuzz and R-Mix x5
Glow-In-The-Dark BMOG x5
Monoscream BMOG x5
Bear/Manta Ray BMOG Exclusive x3
T-Shirts x2 Art Prints x3
Button/Shield Logo x3

This is a total package worth over $1,400.

For the $765 Play With Just The Figures option, if the Kickstarter succeeds but does not unlock stretch goals, we will provide the following for backers at this level:

Desolataur figure x3
Bloodbath figure x3
Catastropheles figure x3
Kickstarter Exclusive Bitemark figure x4
Kickstarter Rare Exclusive Calaminous Haagenti x5
T-Shirt x1
Monoscream BMOG x3

This is a total package worth over $900.

AS EACH STRETCH GOAL IS UNLOCKED, THESE LISTS WILL BE UPDATED TO SWAP IN THE UNLOCKED ITEMS UNTIL DUPLICATES ARE ELIMINATED. EACH SET WILL ALWAYS CONTAIN MERCHANDISE AT LEAST EQUAL TO THE ABOVE LISTED VALUES.

Just doing the math, that's 23 figures for $900 which comes to $39.13 a figure (plus tons of bonus items). or 18 figures for $765 which comes to $42.50 a figure. A much cheaper way to buy in bulk than even the army builder sets.

From the Blog of Simon Furman, Transformers writer.

ALL THIS AND PWT TOO!

Quick shout out for a Kickstarter campaign that’s well worth a little bit of your hard-earned. Play With This Too is a start-up toy company developing its own line of fully interchangeable sic-fi action figures, under the headline banner of Lost Protectors. There’s a brimming barrel-load of pro toy and comics talent behind this highly ambitious and super-cool project, and I’m even onboard to help flesh out the story and the character bios – should we move on to phase two (if that’s any incentive). So dig deep and get yourself in at the (kick)start of what is sure to be the next big thing. You can read more about the project and PWTT here on their main site, and the Kickstarter campaign is right here. Only 25 days left! Don’t delay.

Play With This Too added a new reward which will kick in if it gets funded. A pair of tech drones who just happen to have the same colors as G1 Scorponok and Fortress Maximus.

58% funded! Once we hit $80K it will automatically unlock the first stretch goal! Here are D-Fuzz and R-Mix!

take the wait and see approach. If you're on the fence about pledging do so early so we can unlock a ton of extra figures and accessories! In the long run this helps everyone out!

Already got a lot of buzz on our latest reveal D-Fuzz in the Tech Drone 2-pack! But, where does the name D-Fuzz come from...

D-Fuzz is named after a friend of mine Dan. Known on some message boards as Deefuzz. The color purple was picked because its his daughters' Teresa favorite color. She's a beautiful little girl with Down Syndrome.

Down Syndrome is a condition that effects the physical and intellectual development of an individual. In addition to the delay in development there are also potential serious medical concerns such as congenital heart defects and gastrointestinal complications, as well as vision, hearing, and respiratory issues. Organizations like the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis (DSAGSL) assist families with education, networking, and support, as well as help those with Down Syndrome with education programs, community events, and public awareness.

If you'd like to make a donation to DSAGSL - Dan's preferred organization for assisting people with Down Syndrome, you can do so by following this link:

Actually 46% done by now, but who's counting!

From Wikipedia: Beetles are a group of insects which are biologically classified in the order Coleoptera /ko?li???pt?r?/. The word "coleoptera" is from the Greek ??????, koleos, meaning "sheath"; and ??????, pteron, meaning "wing", thus "sheathed wing", because most beetles have two pairs of wings, the front pair, the "elytra", being hardened and thickened into a shell-like protection for the rear pair and the beetle's abdomen.
