Hasbro wanted to do something to dedicate the great music in the original TF movie. A whole new way to think of TFs focused on music. First TFs with wigs!

Generations Combiners Wars

New line will re-imagine past combiners are new next level figures. Sturdy and posible. Main figure is a voyager that will allow other deluxe figures to connect with figures. They can be swapped around and added in many ways.

New IDW story theme will be made to go along with the Combiner Wars to develop the characters for the series. Hasbro and IDW are co-developing the story of the toys in comics and offer origins of Superion as well as new stories for the subsequent figure releases.

Superion will be six deluxe figures with one voyager and deluxe figures that will be sold with add-on legends figures that will make the weapons and other features. Such as Poweglide as weapon.

They combiners can be mixed up. Will come with collector cards.

Transformers Robots in Disguise 2015

A new Transformers story that is continuity with Prime, BUT it is not immediately after the timeline.

Polygon will be working on the new RID cartoon with an 2D look but merges concepts with 3D as well.

Showing videos that was posted earlier with full sound. Just music, no dialog was featured in this clip. We will have this up soon as well.

CGI limits the number of characters in the show. So they wanted to mix in more Anime style with lots more characters and humans as well. The cartoon will air sometime in 2015. Lots of character reveals and videos will be released in the future.

Questions and Answers

Generations line will follow themes in the future, but no plans to do more game characters from FOC.

Will there be more mini-series episodes in RID? It all depends on how many people watch the show. If lots of people watch, they will do more special eps.
