
We reported this past weekend that Game Stop was offering the
exclusive character Shockwave for your multiplayer purposes when you pre-order the
Transformers: War for Cybertron from them. Well, today, they are showing off said character. Fans of the Generation 1 era will most likely not be disappointed at the character, which you can view after the jump.

The Transformers Animated Japan

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Voyager Wave 5! The wave includes
Mindwipe and
Defender Optimus Prime, so be sure to check out the toy aisle on your next run (for those on the East Coast, probably today, due to the impending snowpocalypse part 3). If you don't see them now, they'll be out soon, but if do you spot them, be sure to let us know in this thread!

Thanks to TFClub, we have new images of the
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Ravage repainted in Generation 1 colors. The figure, according to the auction, will be a Japanese exclusive. We had
previously heard that the figure will be a Japanese retailer exclusive, but this auction does not make any mention of that.

Tony Todd has revealed in a recent interview that he will return in
Transformers 3 and explosions will also return. He does not specify what role he will play in the film, but when asked if he will definitely return in
Transformers 3, the Den of Geek quotes him as saying, "You want to quote me? What I was told last month, yes. But that's Hollywood!" Read more.

Hasbro, Inc. reported their fourth quarter earnings report this morning and the fourth quarter results beat the snot out of analyst projections, mainly due to an increase in the boys segment of products (read:
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and
GI Joe), which grew 16% last quarter. Hasbro reported fourth quarter net revenue of 1.38 billion an increase of $144.1 million or 12% (!) compared to $1.23 billion a year ago in 2008. Read more.

Hasbro, Inc. has released the second episode of their
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen web series Cyber Missions. This episode picks up right where the premiere episode ended: Bumblebee has subdued Soundwave and Ironhide and Bludgeon continue their battle in the jungle. Watch the video now at

Jim Sorenson has let the cat out of the bag - well Amazon did it first but, anyway - that the second volume of the Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac book that he co-wrote with Bill Forster is going to be printed. The book will focus on the third and final season of the television series and is currently set for a June 29, 2010 release date. The book is 220 pages and will is currently available for pre-order on
Amazon.com for $19.99.

The Wonderfestival Winter event took place this weekend in Japan and thanks to Snakas we have images of the Transformers Animated display, the line that will debut from Tomy Takara in March. We also have images from the Taabou's Toybox which shows off the
convention exclusive Burning Fallen. We also get a shot at the Super Deformed Transformers Animated keychains.

Toy Fair Nuremburg took place this past weekend, and thanks to a couple of sources, some new information has come into light. "BLOODRAGE THE DESTROYER" from our TFormers Community reports that there will be a Power Core Combiners Superion! The figures, just like we saw from
Toy Fair UK, will be available in a five-pack and will be sized similar to Bruticus. Read more.

The fourth Human Alliance figure is upon is, and it's not even a character featured in the sequel. Barricade graces the line along with his companion Frenzy. Is it any better than his Deluxe version? So far, all the HA figures have shown promise, but

Transformers: Prime will be computer graphics animated and Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci will be involved in the project, reports the Hollywood Reporter. According to the entertainment website, the screenwriters responsible for the
Transformers and
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be executive producers on the
Transformers: Prime, the show debuting on Hasbro Inc. and Discovery Networks'
The Hub in

GameStop has revealed that if you pre-order the
Transformers: War for Cybertron video game through their website or brick and mortar store, you will gain access to Shockwave, in multiplayer mode. The character is exclusive to GameStop and a code will be provided to customers when the game releases.
