Well they said it couldn't be done. The previously reported on Generation 1 Sky Lynx re-issue shown at C3xHobby Japan this summer is for real. BBTS lets us know that Sky Lynx will be released at 8000 yen in Japan - They have a pre-orders page up offering this item for $89.99 that you can see

This is very cool for me. I've never been able to snag a G1 version the few times I've tried on eBay, so a completely new release sounds great to me.

I still have my original Sky Lynx. It is an box in my closet with the rest of my Transformers that I had when I was younger including a working Galvatron.
