BotCon '07 Games of Deception Set Preview IV: Bugbite

By bwbm on Monday, April 30, 2007 @ 07:51:29 PM

The Transformers Collectors' Club has previewed the fourth out of five figures from the BotCon 2007 exclusive set "Games of Deception," Bugbite. Check out the Transformers: Classics Bumblebee repaint below. Thanks to "gobot" for the heads up.

"Your mind is mine for the taking!"

Bugbite was a Gobot, I think? I remember a white Takara minispy being repainted white which was meant to be a gobot as well:

What's with the tribal tattoo crap painted all over this guy? Definitely not as cool as the Seekers, but I like the mold so I'll give this guy a chance. I hope that Jetfire's is the remaining mold, because I would really be pissed if I have to pay so much for five deluxe sized figures (I already pre-ordered).

"What's with the tribal tattoo crap painted all over this guy? "

Its the design team trying to push out supposedly whats hip these days. Implement these elements on their toys so theyd hopefully attract and sell.

Tribal on cars=tacky.

Ladies and gentlemen, Tackyformers.

As a Decepticon, does anyone else think it would have been somewhat plausible to give the guy a freakin' gun? The tribal graphics remind me of Energon Dreadwing, but that was a better-looking figure. I expected this would be somewhat darker overall, but tribal stuff aside, not too bad. Nothing on the Seekers though.

That is one kick ass looking repaint. I just love the purple designs on him, and his red eyes make him look evil.

Don't eeeeeven get me started on how dumb this looks....

It looks like something that crawled out of PIMP MY RIDE lmao(I hate that show)

It looks so original too....OR NOT!!!!

Oh and to top it off he leads this new band of SEEKERS Hmmmm
I am guessing He used Richard Simmons fashion since as an idea for his paint sceme...

I figured this would happen. Why couldn't they have taken one of the Classics figures that WASN'T repainted?!

Yep, just as I predicted. Come on, do a repaint of Rodimus. THAT was the coolest of the classics line.
