BotCon Exclusives Alpha Trion and Weirdwolf Images

Just posted are images of the BotCon Exclusive Figures Alpha Trion and Weirdwolf. Get a look at the repaints of Cybertron Vector Prime and Snarl that were made just for this year's convention in the image gallery.

1) I am a hopeless old-schooler obesssed with classics designs (not only TF but the 80s as a whole)!
2) I should stop visiting these forums in order to avoid a nervous breakdwon provocked by the frustration of never being able to afford such articles of Transformers excellence, at leastw hile I deal with my current monetary and emotional issues. This last comment is not made to earn people's pity (or hatred for being emo). I am just making a statement.

by Tramp on Saturday, June 30, 2007 @ 05:52:51 PM | | Wierdwolf looks pretty nice, and the head sculpt on Alpha Trion is near perfect, but the placement of the colors, particularly on the torso, are way off. There is too much violet and white. He should have no white anywhere on his body, the white should be grey or silver. The only white that should be on Alpha Trion is his facial "hair" and around his eyes, the rest should be grey or silver just like in the cartoon and DW comics. Secondly, on the upper chest, the violet and white (grey) should be reversed, the obliques should be red, and the bowl should be completely red, not violet with a red ball in the center. His hip guards and cod piece also should be red, not violet with red detailing. Also, the upper arms are suposed to be red, not violet. I like the mold, but even using chrmatic colors, which I am fine with, they royally screwed up the color placement. |

This is how the Botcon Alpha trion should have been painted, even if they used Chromatic paints instead of metallics like I did. |
