Whoa there, I'd like to know where this information came from about the Sky Lynx reissue. Yes, there was a Sky Lynx at the expo, but when I asked the workers at the Takara/Tomy booth they couldn't confirm or deny that it is the next reissue.Tak/Tomy often has individual vintage TFs on display at various expos, so this doesn't necessarily mean anything. The box itself was vintage, and not a reissued box.

Prototype prime is very interesting.

Could it be we'll finally get a truly high quality rendition of at least his robot mode?!

I can't see how that thing could possibly tranform, and yet for some reason the fists do look like they fold up into the arms, and their are a couple other inexplicable hinges for general robot articulation...

Can't wait to see what comes of this one.

Just got back from this event! Takara were selling up to two Prime/Screamer sets per person and they sold out pretty fast!

Takara were also giving out free movie trailer DVDs (with the movie poster images printed on both disk and sleeve) but they had nothing special. They also had a giant Optimus Prime box that you could step into and be photographed in, which was nice.

Skylynx, remember, was borrowed from another toy company, I think, just like Omega Supreme, the Deluxe Insecticons and Road-what-is-name and Whirl were, so perhaps they cant re-release "Captain Modesty" in his original G1 form, even if they tried...
