That's good news. Maybe they will film 2 & 3 at the same time life Pirates and The Matrix sequels. Now let's just hope they keep listen to the die hard fans once they achieved success.

Since this is seemingly going to sequels, I have but one request.
Please... for the love of God, do NOT copy the endings of Matrix Reloaded or PotC2.
I hate... HATE when they say "To Be Continued" at the end of a movie. Makes me feel like I paid $9 for a TV show.

One of the issues when you know you've got a trilogy is that you HAVE to leave things unresolved in the second one, in order to make the climax more, um, climactic. That's why the second movie is almost always the "downer". Empire Strikes Back is probably the best example.

I'm cool with that, Veloxiraptor. I'm referring to an ending like Matrix Reloaded. Cutting out and displaying TO BE CONTINUED on the screen is just major cheese.

I dunno. I was fine with 'to be continued' at the end of Back To The Future. Mainly cos, Matrix and Pirates, I did actually want more.
