Kaye To Voice Optimus in Transformers: Heroes Cartoon?

 According to TheTransformers.net, they have received an e-mail from David Kaye stating that he will be voicing Optimus Prime in the upcoming Transformers: Heroes cartoon. "I’ve been cast as the new ‘Optimus Prime’....yes, Optimus Prime !!!!!! The new cartoon series being recorded at Cartoon Network in Los Angeles. You’re the first to know on the other side of the Atlantic," Mr. Kaye writes to board member "cuddles1977." Mr. Kaye's previous credits in the Transformers universe have all been of Megatron in Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Armada, Energon, and Cybertron. If this e-mail is legitimate, this also confirms that Cartoon Network will produce the cartoon. Previous rumors are also that the show has been given a 26-episode run as opposed to the 52-episode run that Armada, Energon, and Cybertron have been given. of course, they might be using the in-house production studio at hasbro (same guys that did the last trilogy of series). |

Maybe Prime will end up becoming evil or something and totally change everything around, but I suppose that would lead to more complaining and wondering why people are coming up with new ideas. Or maybe Kaye will be both Prime and Megatron, like an Austin Powers thing. In any case, I think he will have to have a less diabolical tone in his voice to be any sort of Prime. |

Well he did a good job as General Hawk in G.I. Joe., not to mention Fluffers in Inuyasha.
He'll probally make a good Optimus. I'll reserve judgement will I see it.
