An auction over at Chinese auction site Taobao for the "Transformers" movie "Battle Damaged" Concept Bumblebee. The image accompanying the auction gives us a good out-of-package look of the vehicle mode.
It is unclear how this will be offered in the Asia region, but the U.S. Target-exclusive will be getting it packaged with the 1976 Camaro Bumblebee in the two-pack "Evolution of A Hero."

I want legs that can be blown off. Otherwise, this seems like a waste to me, since his vehicle form is never trashed like this in the movie.

I really don't care if his legs get blown off or not. Most likely they don't. I do think though that it looks slightly cooler though than the undamaged version.

The legs are ball joint pegs. If you just HAVE TO HAVE it with "leg damage", snap them off and there you go. Chances are these won't be in Target long enough to even worry about if you want it or not. But I'll probably grab the set just to keep as is for display purposes. I can have my single card ones opened and pose them around this set.

The painted scuff marks look better on the '08 than on the '76.

Better yet you can take off the legs and when Longarm comes out you can hitch him to the back to re-create the movie scene perfectly. Now THAT will be sweet!
