I'm never a fan of Movie video games but nice to hear Nintendo get some first love but who knows its early.
I really want a TF MMO its right up there with my MP03 repaints lol.
Yeah I know dorkish. But think Start off pre-gen1 Can't play any copyrighted characters but you can interact with them (missions etc) make your own tf decepticon or autobot move yourself up in the ranks other lines could be expansions /sigh anyway lol

I guess its wise to invest more titles for a tradtional system like the DS instead of the gimmicky Wii (see also Nintendo Power Glove).
The Wii controller is just damn weird, especially if you've been used to the normal controllers that have been the standard for nearly 20 years. Why suddenly change now?

I've thought about something like this WAY too much - Now I will subject you to my lunatic ravings:
* Rather than a standard MMOPRG format, I think it would be better to aim for something akin to MMO's like Planetside or the upcoming Quake-Wars, or even Tabula Rasa - more of a MMOFPS type thing with some exploration elements thrown in. This is because we really don't see TF's doing things like crafting items, etc, so keep the focus on combat.
- "weight-class" (Heavy/Standard/Light) < this determines what alt modes they have to choose from
- Alt Type (Air/Land/Sea??) Sea's iffy cos water based alt modes are kinda limited in their usefulness....
- Alt mode < Players choose the actual vehicle they want as their Alt mode
- Transformation < Players are given, say, 3 different options for HOW they transform (Head orientated/Chest orientated/Feet orientated) for example Head would see a car TF's bonnet become the torso (like Prowl), while Bumblebee would be Feet orientated. While it would be a modeler/animators nightmare, this is to add more variety to player characters.
- Color / Logo's / etc < more customization....
- Accessories / Weapons < This essentially defines what role or class the player will adopt in the game ie: Heavy Infantry, Scout, Engineer, etc
* Players then enter the game world in order to compete against opposing factions for Energon resources. However, keep in mind:
- Robot mode enables combat abilities etc, but also potentially triggers the defenses of the civilian populace - ie: a timed countdown before Human Military forces arrive to protect the city (timer duration is faction aligned) eg: stay in robot mode too long in any given spot and NPC tanks, etc show up to make life difficult)
- Alt mode disables most combat abilities (planes/tanks/etc exception) bu
