Hasbro has announced via their website that more "Metallic" figures will be coming. Officially dubbed the "Premium Series," Hasbro has said that more figures will be announced in the first half of 2008. The launch of this line began with "Metallic" versions of Megatron and Ratchet, which have just started to hit Best Buy stores shelves to coincide with the release of "Transformers" on DVD.

I'm excited and aggrivated at the same time.
We'll have to see WHO they repaint, and how well.
Leader class prime with all grey replaced by metal, and that ugly red plastic metalic would be almost perfect!
BB08 w/ Lawson's gold treatment would make me happy as well.
SS w a metalic body would probably be a total home run (excpet that the plane would still be a joke).
But yes, this was a pain in the ass. I think I managed to get the last magatron in the entire Toledo metro area this afternoon. Apparently the main best buy sold out in under an hour and only ordered 8 toys. It's as if no ones been paying attention to what's been going on for the past 4 months.
While my lawson's BB was well worth what I paid, there's no way i would have paid a penny over retail for these.

More movie repaints yet when we beg for the seekers to be done in full they can't do it?
Hasbro you're so F'ing hipochritical when it comes to what you say and do. How can you justify umpteen damn movie figures yet you can't release all classics seekers.
The botcon seekers were done in metalic plastic, re release the figures in matt plastic so the botcon people who can aford expesive exclusives and a trip to the USA can still feel like they weren't pissed on like the rest of your fandom does.
STOP OVER MILKING THE MOVIE FIGURES!
TRY MILKING THE CLASSICS MOLDS!

i completely agree.
Botcon should have exclusive figs for a limited run and then a "poor mans" edition should be brought out.
And hasbro talk crap all the time. Look at alternators "we cant have more than one yellow/red car" and then look at the whole skittles assortment they brought out!

Man i still have all my receipts, i should just dump all my stuff on Target and Walmart. The vast majority of the stuff I own would be shelf warmers cept Prime and BB. Not that it would be significant enough to make a dent in Hasbro's profit, but it would be nice if enough of us were able to influence Hasbro by doing returns. I don't appreciate that they put out a lame paint scheme then say they're gonna put out exclusive movie accurate paint jobs. Screw you Hasblow, that's why I and many ppl stopped collecting Star Wars, we're fed up with it and store exclusive repaints.

Excuse me, but wtf? I've already bought most of these, and that's just bullshit. It really ticks me off.
