Cullen, Welker Reprise G1 Voices for TF: The Game

By bwbm on Thursday, April 05, 2007

Activision announced today that Peter Cullen and Frank Welker have both signed on to lend their voices to the characters of Optimus Prime and Megatron, respectively, in the upcoming "Transformers: The Game." Reported by GameNewsI, this game will mark the first time Mr. Cullen and Mr. Welker will act opposite each other in a "Transformers"-related product since the original cartoon ended in 1987. Says Activision head of production Laird Malamed: "As Transformers fans, we knew the importance of having the well-known voices of Optimus Prime and Megatron in the game.” For previous "Transformers: The Game" information, check out the video game fact sheet.

Gamespot has also posted three new in-game screenshots from the video game. All of the screens depict the playable character of Bumblebee throughout various stages of the game. See the screens in our local image gallery.
