Movie's Make Prime Speak Contest Winners Announced

By BaCon on Friday, November 10, 2006

And soon, Optimus Prime will speak their words.

TRANSFORMERS’ MAKE PRIME SPEAK CONTEST has announced the Top-10 winners to the contest, where fans and the online community could submit their chances to have Peter Cullen – the voice of Optimus Prime – speak their line of dialogue in the TRANSFORMERS movie, in theatres 7.4.7.

Carl, from Norristown, PA, will see his number-one winning entry – “Freedom is the right of all sentient beings” – featured in the upcoming TRANSFORMERS movie.

The number one line – as determined by filmmakers from a Top-30 list that contest registrants voted on – will be spoken by Cullen in the film.

Second and third place winners will have their entries recorded by Peter Cullen and made into ringtones.

And winners 4 through 10 will also have their entries recorded by Cullen, and featured on the official site, www.TransformersMovie.com.

A special thanks for all those that submitted entries and voted. The Top-10 Winning entries, in order, are listed below:

Besides the Cloud update, TakaraTomyMall also posted a variety of pictures of new Lost Age series figures, including Power Attackers Grimlock, Slug, Snarl, and Galvatron. Also pictured is a four-pack of one-step Transformers with Optimus Prime, Galvatron, Slug, and Helicopter Drift. Keep reading to see the images!
Clearly taking its cues from Age of Extinction, the first Decepticon spotlight video for Angry Birds Transformers is Foreman Pig in the role of Lockdown. We hadn't seen official character art for him previously, instead seeing Megatron (pictured). The game is due for release on October 15th, but in the meantime you can keep reading to see the video!
The XMas goodies are already arriving at CostCo in the San Francisco Bay Area with the arrival of the Bumblebee Lite [Light?] Guardian by Tech 4 Kids. The people who brought us Mash Em's and other AOE licensed items. This is night light accessory aimed at young children who apparently cannot spell yet. This was on display with their Liteforce collection that includes Marvel Spiderman and My Little Pony that are on sale for $9.99.
The official TakaraTomy Twitter account for Transformers has posted new images of Lost Age LA-13 Battle Attack Nemesis Prime. The appropriately numbered figure is a recolor of Power Attackers Optimus Prime, and frankly looks a little underdecorated, even by the standards of the kids-line TF4 toys and the standards of other Nemeses Prime. Keep reading to see for yourself!
The Future Exhibits page of the Indianapolis Children's Museum's website has a listing for a Transformers exhibit scheduled to run between March and July of 2015. From the description, it's going to spotlight the process of creating Transformers figures, much like the exhibit currently in Rhode Island.
