Mike @ digital toys sends us a report that he's Just received early pictures from Japan on the upcoming Frenzy and Rumble Transforming Ear Phones. These are fully functional earphones for use with the Soundwave MP3 Player. Frenzy and Rumble are slated to be released July 2007 for a price of roughly $37. Pics and pre-order have been posted at DigitalToys.com.

You think these are going to tickle?
Looking at these, I don't see anything that even hints at being ergonomic or comfortable. If these are actually supposed to be the fully functional earphones for the Soundwave MP3 player, I can see bleeding ears becoming a new identifier for transfans worldwide.
On the other hand, we still haven't seen a full 360 degree view of these things, so we'll see.
