A new piece of concept art for the "Transformers" movie Megatron has surfaced with new looks at his alternate mode of an Alien Jet in various vehicle stages as well as his weapons. It also gives a look at Megatron's arm cannon. You can check out the image in this TFans thread.

Well, there we go, looks like megs has his trademark arm cnnon after all, though ill be the first to admit it wasnt quite what i was expecting!

I can't see the differience between stages 1,2 and 3. Either way, somebody's a big Cowboy Bebop fan.

The only difference I can see between stages 1,2 and 3 is that the wings are more swept forward each time

This Megatron design has always had me worried a bit, but each time I see more designs the concept starts to grow on me. I do think however that if there aill be 3 movies done, Megs will most likely change his form. This is most likely to be his form for the first movie, which I can handle.

Megs is gonna have to fly around in the movie with the respective captions under his jet mode for me to distinguish them. Can't....quite...see....a... difference. *squints at pixels* Nothing dramatic for sure.

I guess it's just a case of variable wing geometry? Somewhat like the F-14... except with the wings swinging forward instead of back.
