Takara continues to release more innovative and imaginative products with the new Transformers Sports Label series! This new series features 1/2 scale transforming Nike shoes! These licensed items should be somewhere around 6" in length in shoe mode and it looks like they even have real laces connected to the top of the shoe. Convoy and Megatron are also each sporting a miniature pair of Nike Free 7.0 as a finishing touch.

Aat least these are fresh ideas from the TF tradition and hark back to the microchange real object origins of some of the toys (as have many of the other new toys). At least the robot modes look quite good, maybe shell formers but good shell formers.

i think they took a lame concept and did a prety good job executing it. the bot modes look kool, and if they have rubber soles it would be better.
they should make 2 other bots that have matching shoe modes (with the exception of them be the other foot) and sell them in a shoe box like package. have u-mag with optimus and shockwave with megatron. they could be released here as part of the real gear line, lol.

Yeah the robot parts look pretty cool. Love the color, and head design. Be nice if they took those to non shoe robots.
