The Secret Sector 7 Website: What Exactly Is It?

By bwbm on Thursday, December 21, 2006 @ 01:55:16 PM

Nelson of Michael Bay's Shoot For the Edit forums posted about the "secret" Transformers website that can be found at www.sectorseven.org and accessed with the password "takara83."

The password is case-sensitive.

One video is currently available on the bottom right with the exclamation point in a triangle, which talks about a certain breach in security. One of the folders on the right includes a PDF file which is considered a "Top Secret" document, which is consistent with the website's theme.

However, the rest of the document tells a different story.

Under the "Property" label, the following appears:
The Property shall be defined as the characters, character names, locations, and storylines from the TRANSFORMERS, it being undestood that TRANSFORMERS is one of the computer game projects under development by S7 Industries.
I believe it is a website that is advertising a computer game developed by what seems to be S7 Industries, Inc. And through talking with Jack, it is believed that it is the previously announced deal from Activision to produce video games.

It was announced earlier this week that Activision will also produce two Wii games and a DS game based on the Transformers movie.

What do you think this website means? Look around the website as well as the PDF file and post your thoughts in this TFans thread.

I went there last night. It was kind of a trippy experience!

I just hope it's not only for the blasted Wii. I've owned every Nintendo System since the 8 bit days, and this one just does not do it for me. I even bought Zelda for the GC, because I don't want to sit on my couch waving that thing around to swing his sword in a 4 hour game. I could do a TF DS game, but I hope Activision brings it to 360 or Ps3

Theyll blatantly bring a version out for all systems. Im hoping the developers be given the 3D models used by ILM.

Still, good movie licenced games are few and far between, and i dont have high hopes. Most of the budget is usually spent on the licence itself, with whatever is left over used for its production. The game on the ps2 was pretty good, but this new one is being done by a different development house.

Lets hope this one bucks the trend

On a non TF related issue, you wouldnt be missing out on a lot if you got the GC version of Zelda, Sindred. Ive completed the wii version, and some wii controller additions feel slightly tacked on. Using the pointer for archery is awesome though, and pretty much renders the old style obselete.
