Tom Kenny Voice of Starscream in 'Transformers: Heroes'

 IESB has reported that Tom Kenny (Spongebob, "Spongebob Square Pants") will play the character of Starscream as well as the possibility of other characters in the fall's "Transformers: Heroes" cartoon. IESB previously followed a report that was announced about Tom Kenny's casting in the "Transformers" movie, which was later cleared up as being the animated series instead. by Warrior_From_The_Sky on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 @ 08:04:24 PM | i actually LIKE the voice actor selections made so far for this new animated series. it seem that Cartoon Network is working hard to go with some very diverse voice acting talent too keep the bots from all sounding like the same guy...like everything from Armada to Cyberton was XP
i think the ONLY things left to really give us an idea as to how good this show will be is to know what style it will be, y'know, crappy stiff CGI or cell style animation, and what the character designs will be. my vote is to use CGI in the style of what was done with Futurama, where it looks like cell animation and moves fluidly, my other vote would be to use the Classics line of toys for character designs. my only OTHER suggestion, is to use the classic 80's transformation sound effect for the bots. i really missed hearing that after they stopped using it in RiD. |

Teen Titans definitely a class act in writing, character development, and overall delivery. It shows you can make a show for "young people" that's enjoyable to a broader audience. Hoping this show will do the same. |

actually looking forward to this more than the Movie, it'll at least be the first time we see an all U.S. production since Beast Machines.
The only way they drop the ball is if its ends up as craptastic as Teen Titans.
