More Age of Extinction News
Finally (for now) Transformers Colombia presents us with found images of the later wave One Step Changers for Age of Extinction heavily populated by off-screen character toys. This assortment will feature Rollbar who takes heavy X-Brawn cues, Strafe, ROTF Megatron(?!), and a very G1 Prowl. Keep reading to see images of each figure in both modes and packaged!
Apparently it'll play in Peoria: Seibertron reports that Generations Lockdown has been sighted and purchased in an Illinois Target. For $9.96 no less! Keep reading for a mirrored image and a link to the original story, then go dig out that $5 giftcard you got for buying Silver Knight Prime and Fall of Cybertron Grimlock!
Transformers 4: Lost Age is out in Japan, and TakaraTomy is supporting the movie with both toy commercials, and a themesong for the kids' line of figures: "Kakkoeasy!" It's one of those difficult to translate Japanese wordplays that combines the words "Kakkoii" ("handsome" or "cool-looking") and "Easy" (which is written "i-ji-" in Japanese.) Definitely a song for little kids, but one with the sinister potential to bore into your head and never leave. Keep reading to hear it for yourself and see the toy commericial too!
Autobase Aichi has posted a link to a YouTube video from the Japanese premiere events for Lost Age/Age of Extinction. It features both a crazy lightshow focused on the Optimus Prime and Bumblebee statues we've seen so much of since June, and Jack Reynor (Shane Dyson) and Nicola Peltz (Tessa Yeager) answering questions in English which were asked in Japanese and looking appropriately confused. Keep reading to see the video! UPDATE: Just added images from the event.
Planet Iacon has posted a collection of images of upcoming TakaraTomy releases, most of them in-package. Among the crowd are Transformers Expo exclusive Nemesis Prime, from the Lost Age/Age of Extinction Evasion Mode Optimus Prime mold. Also the TRU exclusive "Rusty" version of that mold, the Legends Commander Collection/Robot Masters reissues, and more! Keep reading to check it out!
