IMAX Corporation, DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures has announced that "Transformers" will be released onto IMAX theatres on September 21. The film will be digitally re-mastered onto the IMAX format. "IMAX's all-encompassing format takes 'TRANSFORMERS' to a whole new level of detail and intensity," said Michael Bay, the film's director. "I am very excited to work with the team at IMAX to create this turbo-charged version."
