Trax, R8 Robot Modes Revealed? Old Bot Returns?

By bwbm on Tuesday, September 09, 2008

Thanks to "randy," we have some new images of what may be robot modes of the Chevrolet Trax and Audi R8 from "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen."

The images are low quality, but are give us a general idea of what the robot modes look like.

The first batch of images provided looks at the robot mode of the Chevrolet Trax, which has previously been confirmed as an Autobot.

The first image is of what he claims to be the head (pictured right), and a general look at the robot mode as a whole.

He also seems to suggest that Trax is one of the Twins. However, whether or not this is due to the Twins speculation that has been following the Trax and the Beat, or that he knows something we do not, is unknown.

The stand-alone image concerns what "randy" says is the robot mode of the Audi R8 (pictured below).

Another image, not pictured here, is a blurry look at the Jazz's robot mode. The character was last seen in two halves at the end of "Transformers." Since then, Director Michael Bay has denied that the character will return for a second go-around. However, "randy" is saying otherwise, providing the picture with what seems to be the promise that more will come.

The watermark on the images are the same as the ones found on the images of the GM Corvette Centennial Design Concept toy and robot concept art that surfaced over the weekend.

yeah a lot of people want it to be blurr as for looking similar well given the movie style so far very few characters have looked like their past counter parts I'm not going to say its any one hell it can even be a new character

Span at the Don Murphy boards made this observation of one of the leaks.. [url=" (link) There's a resemblance, sure, but for some reason, I just don't see Blurr being chosen as a movie character.

The red car has to be a bullshot image.. the robot mode anyway. C'mon, they wouldn't design a robot that looked THAT close to Bumblebee for the movie. The other appears to have merit though.. and judging by the spiny fingers, I don't think it's an autobot. Looks like Barricade got an... read more

Dunno but maybe Hasbro wants them to down-size Bumblebee and bring in his "twin" Cliffjumper. Maybe, but dunno, like i said. But the pic DOES look like a redone Bumblebee. We'll see.
