New Looks at Transformers Animated Cliffjumper

By News_Staff on Saturday, November 22, 2008

TF08.net has posted an image giving us some new looks at the Animated Activators Cliffjumper action figure. The Cliffjumper toy is a repaint of Activators Bumblebee with a newly molded head that will be released with Animated Dirge in Wave 5 at the end of the year. You can see the image here.

Does anyone remember Cliffjumper's first and only . *sheesh* Hm. I just realized that EP Cliff isn't his proper red in any way. (FTR, he's yellow and brown with khaki.) Of course, I had a yellow Minibot Cliff as a kid, so a yellow Cliff seems natural to me. I also had a red Minibot Bum... read more

Activators Bumblebee is pretty great. I had no intentions on buying him but I bought one for my neice and I couldn't stop fiddling around with it...so then I bought one for my daughter...and now it's on my display shelf hahaha. I think I've changed my mind on this guy. His face has won me over. He has a space reserved on my shelf next to Sentinel Prime.

NOES! HE MUST BE BUMBLEZ REPAHNTZ!!! Seriously though, since CJ was originally a Porsche, you'd think we could move on past CJ is SMALL D00D! to CJ was a Porsche too, but tradition doesn't allow it. CJ is forever tied to BB.

is how you do a Cliffjumper redeco: Use a version of Bumblebee that a) is significantly different from his "canon" robot mode, b) has an altmode that looked like a cross between G1 Bumblebee and Cliffjumper to begin with and c) has proven itself to be a completely awesome figure and give... read more
