Chrono Label: Auto Ceptor and Time Limit Transforming Wristwatches
Jay - Friday, January 09, 2009

Big Bad Toy Store has just announced it is taking pre-orders for the following new Transformer items: Chrono Label: Auto Ceptor Transforming Wristwatch and Chrono Label: Time Limit Transforming Wristwatch. Glad to see Takara's not giving up on making Transformers into functional electronics much like they did with Micro Change and Kronoform toys made back in the 80s.

Ha! (link) I still have a black version of the Autoceptor race car, and a gold version of the jet that is next to it. Mine doesn't look that new, though...

There were a whole line of robo-watches from the Micro Change line. Kaltor was a Kronoform toy made by Takara for the USA market. That Megatron one, X-KALIBOR, is too cool. (link) I am pretty sure I have a Kaltor. Let me check around for it and I will PM you if I do.

...$280.00? For a transforming watch? (and a crappy looking one, at that.) A WATCH? You could buy a nice Rolex knockoff for that price and feel better about yourself in the end, even if you were living a lie. lol

I already own TOKIMA, by Bandai, which was about 50-80 pounds I think. It wasnt waterproof though and got eroded a little by my own sweat! Mind you, they are still cheaper than Takara's version and they have special messages for you about the date, historical facts, etc in Japanese as well... read more

I saw those when I checked out Encore Bruticus. I could believe the price that I was seeing. What kind of watches could these possibly be for $300? For that much these should miniaturized masterpiece Transformers.

We don't talk about Diaclone Reboot a lot despite its close relevance to Transformers, but today we're making an exception for an important development in the line. From listings on Amazon Japan, we have looks at the first two Waruder sets for the relaunched Diaclone line, providing an antagonistic force for the Dianauts and all their fighting machines. Waruders were the classic enemy in Diaclone, and the original Insecticon toys began their lives as specialized Waruder mecha. There's two new mecha coming up right now, click through to see pictures and find out about what they do.
