New Looks at Revenge of the Fallen Ramjet and Skywarp Robot Modes
Primus - Monday, January 12, 2009

Thanks to Ebay seller toys-models who's posted new auctions for the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen voyager seeker repaints of Ramjet and Skywarp.

As we reported before, these repaints of the Starscream and Thundercracker molds as Ramjet and Skywarp would each use the heads from the orginal molds.

Now you can see them in robot mode, heads on and what they will look like with full paint applications on.

Look for these toys to be available on / near May 29th, 2009 when Hasbro will be releasing the entire Revenge of the Fallen action figure line.

Which seeker figure you like better now?

Bottom line...I'll end up getting them both. True, I did hate the designs of this mold when I first saw prototype pictures way back when, but I warmed up to the Moie designs and came to like 'em. Hey, if you hate the mold,'ll save some dough. I wanted a Voyager Ramjet ever sin... read more

they've gone from cone heads to dome heads. since g1 starscream, thundercracker and now skywarpd all have matching heads i hope any remaining coneheads get the original movie starscream dome... not that i'll get any of them... just for consistancy sake.

Stop using this mold. The person who designed Movie Starscream should be ashamed.

I am getting a bit tired of the endless repaints of these things, and I think Ramjet especially really comes up short as far as embodying what made him Ramjet. As far as the mold goes, I'm very fond of the bot mode- it looks very formidable and alien. I especially like the target "premium... read more

I pretty much share your opinion of Movie Starscream; he's not the G1 'Screamer I know, but he still kicks ass. That said, I disagree with you about the toy. I recognize all of the toy's faults, I realize that you have completely legitimate reasons for disliking the toy, but personall... read more

BEGIN RANT: You know what? it's just more carp! LOTS AND LOTS OF CARP! I personally, (as in ME! my opinion!) LIKED the movie Starscream compared to the G1 there's no competition G1 wins hands down... but I loved the design and concept of the movie SS, They even got his pers... read more

They are NOT "mistransformed". That transformation is a popular fan-transformation. It allows the wings to seem more "G1" AND it allows the shoulder joints to sit higher up, give a more humanoid and thus "G1" feel to it. I myself do the same with my movie G1 Screamer... read more

Ramjet looks pretty cool, but I doubt I'll get him though.

TakaraTomy has posted a pair of new YouTube videos for their upcoming release of the Studio Series Wave 1 figures, as well as for their Turbo Change assortments! Most notable are the stop motion transformations for the StudioSeries figures, and a better look at the chart TakaraTomy used to show off the relative scale between the releases. Keep reading to see!
Via various reports at 2005, we now know that the Studio Series Deluxe and Voyager class figures are showing up a bit early! With a street date of 4/20, Washington State Fred Meyer Stores and Kansas Dillons stores are putting the figures out well over a month ahead of time... but given the markup at both locations, you'll be paying for the privilege if you can find them. Keep reading for photographic proof!
Metals Diecast has posted some new images of their MetalFigs 4" Transformers: The Last Knight figures to Facebook! These SD-style Optimus Prime and Bumblebee figures are both due to hit retail next month and, as the name would suggest, are made of diecast metal. That's got to be a pretty weighty set of figures! Keep reading to see images.
Yenting Lai of Facebook group TFND has posted an extensive gallery of images showing off Studio Series Voyager Starscream! The figure - which is due in both Transformers(2007) & Revenge of the Fallan color schemes in different waves - has a lot of articulation and looks very good in both modes. Keep reading to take a look with the gallery we've mirrored here, for convenience.
Studio Series is the topic of the evening, and in our last (for now) update on that front, we have stock images for Studio Series Thundercracker from usual suspect Weibo source tf-factory. Thundercracker is exclusive to Toys R Us in the US and is a redeco and minor retool of The Last Knight Voyager Nitro, featuring a new head. This leak gives us clearer looks at the vehicle and robot photos, plus a sample of the character art for the packaging. So far as we've heard, there's still just the one sighting of the toy in the wild so far. Click through to see the photos.
