Transformers Generation 2009 Vol.1 Limited Edition Clear Mirage Revealed

Million Publishing recently announced their Transformers Generation 2009 Vol.1 book what will feature profiles and history of Transformers action figures created by Takara for the Japanese collector markets. Thanks to Cybergundam's Blog we have details on the figure.

As reported before, the new edition would include an exclusive action figure that has been revealed as a clear plastic version of the Classics / Henkei mirage figure.

The "Transformers Mirage transparent version" from Million-Publishing will be released on February 16, 2009. The figure made of mostly of clear and black plastic with exception of the included electro-disruptor weapon and rear spoilers that are made in chrome.

The book release schedule follows:
Vol. 1 - February 16, 2009
Vol. 2 - April 4, 2009
Vol. 3 - June 6, 2009 - Transformers Movie edition

fair nuff but I can get that ratchet for not much more then the normal reissue and its also quite a cool idea to have the G1 toy in movie colours rather then the other way around but this toy is way over priced looking at the prices some people are reporting

it's not a freebie This book only includes a coupon to purchase the Clear Mirage(can purchase up to 2 Mirage with 1 coupon) Just like the Visual Works exclusive Ratchet(green) that came out last year.

I've already heard of one seller selling the book for $25 which is retail I believe and then charging $90 for the Mirage.

i really like how the robot mode looks mostly clear and the alt mode mostly visible. i'd get it as a 4th mirage mold variation
