SDCC Exclusive Battle Damaged Jetfire Bust by Diamond Select Toys
bwbm - Thursday, March 26, 2009

Action Figure Express has announced their store-exclusive bust for the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con as the Battle Damaged Jetfire 6-inch bust by Diamond Select Toys.

Limited to 600 pieces the bust features an interchangeable head and hand. The bust is available for pre-order at AFX's website for $59.99 USD.
Jetfire's dedication to the Autobot cause is matched only by his devotion to scientific and technological advancement - this, he believes, is the only way in which victory over the Decepticons can be achieved. It is this overriding belief that tempers his bravado in battle, but nevertheless, he is often one of the most eager Autobots to plunge into combat, and his position as one of the fastest usually means he is the first to do so.

It looks different enough to get around the liscensing issues. Looks good but busts don't really do anything for me either.

I'm suprised that they managed to get around the licensing issues. The original Jetfire toy was a copy of a Macross veritech fighter. The battle-mode head version is still an identical copy of the original fighter. *lol*

Couldn't they just give it legs and call it a statue and jack the price up by another 25-50 bucks. That woudl make a cool statue then.

Once again, Twitter user @miiakira2017 has posted an image of their Transformers-related design work. Today, it's a classic car- the specific make, if any, eludes RAC - that would have turned into a laser pistol-wielding cowboy. Though there's a slight resemblance to 2010's Hunt for the Decepticons Scout-class Hubcap, the replies peg this as a Diaclone-era design, so well before that figure was designed and likely a coincidence. Keep reading to see!
