New Spoilers For Revenge of the Fallen?

And we thought it was too late for this.

On the heels of the official release of the full Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen trailer, some new information has surfaced that may provide us some new spoilers for the film.

Three separate anonymous postings found over at the Transformers Live Action Movie Blog deny some bits and clarify some others. If you're interested in reading further, click in.

The first anonymous poster claims to be from the visual effects industry but is not associated with Revenge. However, the poster claims to be in attendance at ShoWest, where never-before-seen footage was shown.

Below are some various highlights. Some of the minor ones are omitted. For the full span of comments and denials, head over to TFLAMB.

Which Constructicon Is Who?
He first claims that the robot Bumblebee fights in the full trailer is named "Scrapper" (see below) the yellow robot is Rampage. However, a separate poster (claiming to be from DreamWorks) denies this and says that the red bulldozer's name has not been revealed yet. The "DreamWorks" poster claims that there will be 10 robots that will remain nameless in the film.

The Constructicons Destroy the Aircraft Carrier
The "anonymous" poster claims that an additional scene shown at ShoWest reveals that the Constructicons are responsible for the aircraft carrier attack. "We saw an addition[al] scene where Longhaul and Mixmaster are destroying the ship from within and end up ripping the hull of the carrier in half.

Soundwave's Old and New Roles
The "anonymous" poster write that "[Revenge Director] Michael Bay made Soundwave's role as Megatron's most trusted friend (aka bodyguard and secretly unknown to Starscream as the real number 2) hence the recovery effect by the Decepticons."

Discussing the character's new role, in the "anonymous" poster's own words:
What I was told is Soundwave has been scanning vehicles and when the Decepticons come to earth they fly by him in space and receive their alt mode on the way down. This is why Long Haul, Scrapper, and Mixmaster are as their alt modes over Megatron.

"DreamWorks" adds:
If you remember, we had an original artwork with Soundwave in his satellite mode where meteor bots are flying by. Ehren came up with the idea like Teletran-1 for the Autobots. This is but one of the many things Soundwave adds to this film. Mike loved this idea because it saves time on having each individual bot scan & transform.
Also, "if you think Long Haul is huge Soundwave is about 6 feet taller," says "anonymous."

Brawl and Bonecrusher Are Done
The "anonymous" poster says that Brawl and Bonecrusher are done and "they use Brawls [sic] parts to reform Megatron underwater (tank tracks and fitted with a particle cannon that Soundwave provides.

"DreamWorks" also denies the claim made by "anonymous" that the tank tracks on Megatron are from Brawl. "[T]hey are NOT," writes "DreamWorks" (emphasis poster's).

"His tank tracks are Cybertronian metal and that is the reason most of his body has rust but the tracks do not. He is built from deceased Decepticons but not from the Laurentian Abyss."

"Anonymous" writes that "The other plot point is the cold and pressure does not effect their bodies like the humans thought they would."

Two Sparks or One?
While there was some confusing denial between "anonymous" and "DreamWorks," they agree on one thing: a robot sacrifices himself to bring Megatron back.

Mixmaster and Megatron can semi-fly
Megatron has back rockets and Mixmaster has the spinning gears turbines under his arm shields (cement mixer barrel) that he uses a few times.

Poor Jazz
Bay's way of showing that Jazz is gone for good? "We saw a short 5 second shot where Long Haul stomps on Jazz's corpse underwater," writes "anonymous."

Starscream has a following
"There are 5 other jets that fly with Starscream but have not been named at the time of the show. I do not know the type of aircraft." "DreamWorks" says there's only 3.

Alice is a Pretender/Not a Pretender Redux
Screenwriter Roberto Orci reveals that Revenge will feature a Pretender, but who will it be? Rumors have surfaced that it will be Alice (Isabel Lucas), and "anonymous" continues that trend while shining some more light on the feral cat.
Ravage is really small like a real jungle cat. He is sent to kill Sam but realizes Sam has information about The Fallen so he tries to get it from him. Once she turns on Sam and comes after him then she shows who she really is and Barricade shows up to help.
"DreamWorks" denies every bit of it, though:
Isabel's character is NOT a human form for Ravage. I will not say who but think back to the videos I am sure you have seen with the crew & the puppet-like minion [which we have seen -ed]. Ravage actually has nothing to do with the college aspect. Soundwave enlists someone else for that job. All I can say is this...Ravage is far too big (unlike the info you have) to be Isabel.

Blackout's Back

"DreamWorks":
There isn't a character in the film named "Grindor" ("DreamWorks" originally posted "Gridor") because it indeed is Blackout. We had that toy made because we weren't going to show him until this final trailer and we felt if the toy was leaked with that name [we were right] it would ruin the surprise. Mike insisted on the scene with him in it for the Vegas footage. Fans will indeed see a Blackout toy after the release of the film.
