Animated Removed from Cartoon Network Saturday Schedule

By Beast Megatron on Friday, June 05, 2009

"Transformers Animated" has been removed from Cartoon Network's Saturday schedule, two weeks after the airing of its final new episode. The series now only airs weekday mornings at 6:00 a.m./5:00 a.m. central. With only a few odd exceptions, "Animated" held a Saturday time slot on Cartoon Network throughout its entire production run.

To be fair it was planned to go at least 4 seasons and there are filler episodes in every TV series...

Probably cause they were told at the last minute to wrap it up. Again, the worst thing Animated did was waste time.

As much as I hate to say it, Bay handled the death of Jazz better than the TF:A team handled Prowl's and Screamer's deaths.

Were we watching the same movie? I couldn't care less Jazz was dead.. he didn't do jack squat. Movie Jazz was a Star Trek Red Shirt. And I don't seem to remember Bay saying speifically Jazz was the most likeable.. I think he had to die to make the movie believeable.. Cuz in wars, people... read more

You got me thinking---you know what might have been better is if they had killed Sentinel Prime in a big redemption of his character. I realize that as some folks have said, Prowl's fate was pretty much sealed from the "Five Servos of Doom" episode, but it's always hard to lose f... read more
