Don't care what Wingblade Prime looks like I'll be picking him up! I doubt that figure will suck on any level! Rodimus, Arcee and Blackout... oh my!!!

I've never seen a leader class Ultra Magnus or regular colored Megatron. I saw ONE Roadbuster Magnus but thats it. I ordered my leader Bulkhead off the internet when it was on sale. So as far as leaders go, Im pissed off that I dont have the good ones lol.

I've seen loads of Jazz and Oil Slick still laying on the shelves over here in The Netherlands. Regarding the new stuff: I'm really looking forward to Arcee and Rodimus to complement Blurr on my shelf. I'd also love to see some pics of Wingblade Prime to see what he looks like.

Animated are pretty difficult to come by around here. unless you want voyager Bulkhead or Starscream of course. Ah, if only Animated Megatron was a mere £25, then I'd buy him, but for a lower-than-deluxe level transformation on a leader scale toy, I think £40 is way too much. But, my comme... read more

Animated figures are pretty abundant around here. What depends on the stores. Stores like Target and Walmart just have Snarl, Blazing Lockdown, Sentinel Prime, and the usual shelfwarmers. If you dig around a little, you can find some other figures like Bumblebee, Jazz, Ratchet, Samurai Prowl and t... read more

Must be something to do with the area. I haven't seen any Animated shelf cloggers aside from Shadow Blade Megatron and the occasional Activator. In Wal-Mart and Target it's all movie stuff, leading me to believe that the Animated products have all been sold or pulled from the shelfs (tho I&... read more

I hear conflicting info on how well Animated sold. seemed reasonably brisk to me though. my theory? CN and Hasbro will have one last Animated "push" early next year, as revenge of the fallen will start to wane and the plans for the next series are just starting to get off the ground. They... read more

I am assuming its not MISB or you would have returned it... How much were you expecting to get for a loose figure that is still relatively new in the market?...

yeah I can still get just about every animated figure. Also figuring I've tried 6 times now to sell my Starscream without so much as a bid at a penny start, I don't think the fanboy love is reflective of the actual market.

Transformers Animated debuted in the US in late 2007 with the TV show on Cartoon Network. While we're several months from the exact anniversary of Animated, in Japan a new art book has been released, featuring works by various artists celebrating the series that still holds a special place to many fans. Masabon has shared a selection of interior pages from the book on his personal Photobucket account so that all those of us outside of Japan can have a taste of what's inside. Photobucket is less than user-friendly, so we've mirrored the pages in our gallery - keep reading to take a look and for a list of artists! UPDATED: Masabon wanted us to be certain that it was understood that this is an unofficial fan work, created by fans and without participation from Hasbro or TakaraTomy. Thanks to him for the clarification!
It's not unusual for figures to sit at pharmacies like Rite-Aid, where Deluxes were cresting $20 back when they were $12-13. But a find by Ben Yee, of BWTF fame, may well take the cake: he just found Transformers Animated Deluxe Lockdown! So if you're looking for overpriced 8 year-old Deluxes, check out your local drug store. Keep reading to see Ben's tweet and photo!
In a bit of a blast from the past, The Allspark has today released a copy they've obtained of an early iteration of the series bible for Transformers Animated. The document is dated to late March of 2006, almost two years before the series debuted on Cartoon Network. Cntaining a lot of development notes, plus some episode outlines and various stages of character concept art, it's a very interesting read. It's available to download as a PDF, and you can find the link to that below!
As Combaticon Awareness Week winds down, we find ourselves looking at the Combaticons as solo acts. For today we'll look at Swindle's healthy and illustrious solo career - along with a minor cameo from Brawl. We'll have more details on this fantastic deal after the break!
The two indispensable and out of print resources for Transformers: Animated have been combined with new supplemental material to make a definitive reference. Transformers Animated: The Complete Allspark Almanac is the final word on the series by Jim Sorenson and Bill Forster, with contributions from Marty Isenberg, Derrick J. Wyatt, Eric Siebenaler, Aaron Archer, and more! Continue to full review
