G1 Matrix of Leadership To Hit Store Shelves Oct. 20th In US

If you have been holding off on ordering Shout! Factory's Generation 1 Matrix of Leadership DVD box set until you could actually hold it first, your wait might be over.

According to TV Shows On DVD, the set will be released into the mainstream and onto store shelves on October 13th in Canada and in the U.S. a week later on October 20th.

That's right, the same day as Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. How convenient.

Unfortunately, the suggested retail price is $169.95, which is considerably higher than the $140.00 price tag being offered directly from Shout! Factory.

It's rare for most stores to actually sell at the suggest retail price...and you're certainly not shopping around if that's what you pay! Expect to find this for a good price at Costco, and even Targets during it's first week.

The price hike is even more of a reason to stick with the Rhino sets, or even still get an import set for $60.

Some of the extras look intresting, but I'm sure I can Youtube them soon enough. I aprechiate the effort, but thats alot of bot spending money for something I basicly already have in a different box.
