I like Soundwave. Is it just me though or does Wideload look like it's made of yellowed plastic?

What a HORRIBLE deco of a "black" Soundwave. :roll Well unless this is photoshopped to look blue when in deed its black. Still im liking his grey movie esque color deco AND grey toy. although they need to make an AWESOME SOundwave voyager when TF3 comes out thats ULTRA accurate. .... Hasbro ;)

Bludgeon, Jungle Ironhide, Dirge, Armorhide and Black Soundwave are definitely on my Hit List. I supppose you can also include Brawn, Mindwipe and Lockdown.

Tuner Mudflap is a bit of a disappointment since I was hoping that both Deluxe Movie Mudflap and Skids would be re-released with more 'normal'-looking heads, the same way that Sideswipe and Sideways were turned into Dead End and Swerve.

If it weren't for the horrid heads I would have bought the 'Twins' ages ago.

Oh well, maybe they'll do it for Transformers 3....

Wow. There's a lot of them.

I like Dirge! I like how they didn't try to make the tip of the plane his head....but it would have worked since he is part of the original conehead clan. I guess all links to G1 likeness is off with the "movie" figures.

From what I see it looks like they are able to make more toy "movie" characters faster than they can write any good story lines for them. I can't wait to see them in the stores. I may actually look forward to buying some TF:ROTF toys now. I really like that Ratchet as well.

It's about f@*kin time they made a Brawn. Looks like they gave him some firepower too! I can't understand why he didn't make it into the movie. Not a big fan of the head, but that can easily be fixed. It looks like a left over GIJoe head sculpt.

I'm glad I held off on the picking up Iron Hide. I will pick the Jungle Strike Up. Love the massive amounts of weapons.

I like Bludgedon. I think he's a cool figure. I will pick him up if I ever see him. I agree he doesn't fit in the "Movie" line characters...but it looks like Hasbro is thinking outside the box a little and giving the fans some due treatment. Voyager Class too! This one would be great to Customize into a Megatron or Galvatron! :schin

Midewipe is very cool. I love the stealth bomber plane....so I'm glad to see it got into the TF line in alt mode. The head looks like it belongs on Soundwave but I do like it.

nice how they have such good lighting and photo editing for the larger figures. i'll admit that soundwave does look like a great toy. problem is that it's just as plasticky as all the other toys. if it was more metallic and premium, i'd buy it.

Dirge, because I like jet formers and Bludgeon because he just looks cool.

Oh yeah...Are there pictures posted for Mindwipe and Sky Stalker as well as for Lockdown?

That would make it a total of 5 figures for the budget; 2 deluxes, 1 scout and 2 voyagers.

They were shown at SDCC. We have live shots of the figures, but nothing official - yet.

Skystalker starts here (keep clicking for more): (link)

Mindwipe here: (link)

and

Lockdown: (link)

Wasn't Armorhide supposed to be movieverse Brawn???

Nope. Brawn is in fact getting his own Deluxe movie mold, instead of a repaint of an older mold. It was shown/revealed at SDCC.

And Brawn images start here: (link)

These aren't supposed to come out 'til 2010, right? Jeez, doesn't that seem like a long time until new waves come out? True, I haven't seen the supposed last Deluxe wave of 2009, but still...just seems like three months is a lot, but oh well, whatever. Maybe it'll give the ol' wallet time to heal.

Is it me, or does Dirge have a TFA feel about him?

that's what i've been saying since sdcc lol.

it's the ridiculously oversized intakes that make it look more animated than realistic.

and plus with F35's .. who needs harrier jets... no one.

it'd be like making a futuristic SR71. lol.
