First Looks at Generation 1 Acree Custom Action Figure

By News_Staff on Monday, November 02, 2009

Sorry Hasbro, but the Animated Arcee coming next year has nothing on the new figure from Impossible toys. It took 25 years and numerous failed attempts by fans to produce a viable Arcee. Now thanks to Daren of HK-TF.com who has posted some of our first looks at a custom figure. Update: It turns out this is a fan made custom. NOT the Impossible Toys figure.

Update: It turns out this is a fan made custom. NOT the Impossible Toys figure. They have done a great job with another figure they have named to Transitional Robot Neural Soldier - 01. That figure is slated for release at the end of this year. No date or pricing has been announce as yet.

Riding the recent wave of fans projects products, they producted the Animated PVC figures TA-01 Sari Sumdac, TFA-02 Captain Carmine Fanzone, TFA-03 Professor Isaac Sumdac. Now they've got this highly detailed figure that pics up where the Cyberfembot left off. Adding the much needed high quality plastics, mold casting and paint applications that the Rabid Squirrel figure lacked.

Impossible Toys has taken special care to make the robot head an excellent likeness of the G1 character. Likewise, her alternate Cybertronian vehicle mode is just too cool for school. Even in pink and white, that's a gotta have figure for all GeeWun fanatics. One can only hope the prices are not outrageous like the Cyberfembot product.

The post has been updated to reflect that it is a fan made custom.

I meant the news of these photos. Seibertron made the error in reporting them as Impossible Toy's Arcee figure. Which is not correct. Other sites took the news and ran with it. I corrected Seibertron and they already confirmed that I was right about it. This is just a fan custom, and the p... read more

Seibertron first reported this news, and a couple others have all used it. This is not the Impossible Toys TRNS-01 figure. The photos are of a custom figure someone made, and they posted it on ACtoys to see if there was any interest in mass producing them. This is also not the first time photos ... read more

Looks nice. Might very well get dependent on price, size and quality.

You guys have said the same thing I was thinking. The plastic on this prototype looks pretty milky and kinda crap. I really hope they use a good solid white like Fans Project used on Magnus. That looks solid and perfect. It's not bad, and much MUCH better than those Cyberfembots from a few yea... read more

Looks pretty sweet but a little unfinished yet. THe plastic or maybe it's the coulour needs to be a bit richer...i'd also like to find out how large it actually is..looks to maybe be small but never the less it's bang on and about time somebody finally did and accurate Arcee. I'll bu... read more
