Just in is more news coverage on the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Leader Starscream action figure. We've been getting information in bits and pieces from a couple images here, and a few pictures there. Thanks to Toad grocery store who has posted a video demoing the Leader class Starscream's lights and sound functions.
Watching the video, it is a little bit painful to see the user has removed the head and is holding it attached by wires to trigger the voice over and over. We are able to discern one phrase that Starscream says as "No One Can Defeat Starscream." This sounds like it may be done by the original voice by voice actor Charlie Adler. Additionally, we can see that Leader Starscream's eyes light up and his jaw is articulated providing an open and close munching type movement.

Don't act too harsh, its still in the prototype stage, that is probably just a test voice.

that is seriously the worst voice i have ever heard come out of a transformer. it literally sounds like they just used the exact sound clip from the rotf special features of that dude suggesting what starscream should say. would it really cost that much to just use a sound or phrase directly from ... read more

The voice function is as lame as expected, but my real question is why is his head ripped halfway off the body, and why is he using a razorknife activate the voice? That was a bit strange. Seems a bit early for customizers to be getting their hands on this thing.
