It's an over exadurated problem. The only molting I have on figures is TM Rattrap, TM2 Scourge and BM Ultra Jetstorm. The Top of RID Prime's chest has a tiny chip. Thats about it. What I'm more concerned about is a situation like I have with RID Scourge. The front grill plate is scratch... read more |

Yeah all my NON G1 Transformers still have the same chrome as when i got them. Newest being Henkei! Convoy and Megatron, oldest being MP-01 and Beast Wars Metals Ravage. well hopefully they do it the same way they have previously. my takara premium prime, all my henkei figures, my masterpiece prime & grimlock's chrome is all still looking just as good as the day i got them. . so here's hoping. |

it all depends if they prime the plastic right before they vacumme seal the foil... That right there is the lead cause of chrome molting. |

i just checked out the bottom of the feet parts on the first premium prime and they don't have any chipping or anything, not even on the protruding molded lights. and when i first got this i used to pick it up and put it down ALOT on both wood and glass surfaces. i was worried about that too w... read more |

lol thanks again, yeah, it's testors spray chrome paint, i assumed it was just going to be a shiny silver, but it ended up being pretty reflective. and yeah, i just hand painted all of the other grey parts silver (i didn't feel like taking it apart and spraying it) i went to my moms and sh... read more |

Tim those pics got me wanting this for the MIB collection. Actualy it has me wanting 2 but I'm saving for a house, and the chome feet are scaring me. Thats a high friction zone |
