Dear TFormers staff, this song has been stuck in my head all day because of this thread.

Fortunately there's YouTube else you'd all be rounded up, tied down and forced to sing (looking at you Ender for the opening harmony)

Your forgiven this time, but be warned, I may want a play by play of Rebirth should you ever report on it.

:mwahaha

Dear TFormers staff.

I am wanting to know why you have labeled this transformers news...my opinion that song is worse than barney...not flinstones barney...purple damn dinosaur barney...never liked it..it was probably the worse song to ever have put in a movie that has to do with giant robot aliens..guns and roses welcome to the jungle would be a better song

I like the song, I just dont think its news worthy at this point UNLESS its directly associated with Transformers in some way (in this case its not).

Will someone please kill this aids ridden song I hated it the first time I heard it and still hate it now!!! It has nothing to do with transformers!

I must respectfully disagree. I dont think that Stan Bush has any influence as far as bringing new fans to Transformers. Unless there are Transformers during the sequence with The Touch, i doubt that anyone who doesnt already know where it came from, is gonna care enough to get its full history and see Transformers: The Movie somewhere in there.

I understand what your saying, but I doubt it's gonna be that far reaching.

Honestly, and this came up the otherday when my sister put a clip on Facebook, dam near everyone thought the song originated in Boogie Nights.

When I tried telling them the song was alot older, they didn't believe me and I had to start with the links.

It may be a geek anthem, but 'most' people think Dirk Diggler wrote it.

All very true, but MacFarlane is the king of "I don't quite get it..." jokes. Google comes in handy.

Even if it were possible to sway just one person, that's one more in the mix. And he or she could be the gateway to more.
