Transformers 3 Script Done, Duhamel To Return as Lennox

Some news just in from ShoWest regarding Transformers 3, the movie coming July 1, 2011 from Paramount and DreamWorks. Word is US Army Ranger Major William Lennox played by Josh Duhamel will be returning to the third installment of the robot franchise. It's always possible that negotiations didn't go well. It would be a shame, too. I enjoyed the actor even though when I read the books I always pictured John Ritter in the father role.

I think that the script might be one of Bay's tricks. Because after reading it, Lennox is not in the movie very long. Also there was an article saying that the actor who played Ron Witwicky was in talks about his contract, yet he doesn't appear at all.
