First BotCon Exclusive Toy is Rapido?

Thanks to S250 others this week who have helped piece together some news that Rapido very well may be one of the BotCon 2010 exclusive action figures being offered this year. Rumors of a G2 theme have been supported recent by S250 on his twitter account as well. It is believed that Repido will be a repaint of the Classics Prowl action figure.

Well there was the Skittles colored Dinobots and the really nice green tank mode Megatron with lights and sounds and firing missile cannon! Actually, it does. they replace the panel that the lightbar plugs into on Prowl, with one without holes. Thus, it's a retooled section. It's not much, but it is retooling.

yeah, same way we refer to all repaints as the first offering, ie the CD Scattershot mold. The lightbar is a bit of a trivial pint as the figure is ment to work just as well without it. Smokescreen/Bluestreak offer no mold change, just 1 less piece.

Esentially the same thing. To say they're using the Prowl mould probably means him or all figures that looked like him. So not technically the same, but essentially the same thing.

Personally, instead of using Prowl, tney should use the Smokescreen/Bluestreak mold. It's the same basic mold but doesn't have the lightbar.
