Corbot V Announces New Project - War For Cybertron War Axe
BaCon - Tuesday, September 14, 2010

Corbot V is a small group of friends, all with interests in giant robots battling it out. They are fans of many different shows in this genre. Their goal is to bring items to fans, which we all wish existed already. Here they have posted images of their prototype "War Axe" that is a rendition of the weapon used by Prime in the War For Cybertron game.

Below are images of the War Axe accessory we are currently working on, to bring to fans. The prototype shown below is a resin test casting, to test fitting, and figure out issues when we make the final molds. So please view it as a reference model, of how the final version might end up looking like. Colors and design will vary with the final product. Stay tuned for news in the coming weeks on this and other projects we are working on.

This is the first figure I bought and I can't say that I didn't see this picture and laugh with delight. I really would be interested in getting this too if it is reasonable. I also agree that it looks like the lightning detailing on the blades are a little out of place... as long as the col... read more

If this isnt too pricey I'll get it to go with whatever I can find to go with it. If its gonna be made to fit that fist size then it should work with plenty of other TFs too.

It is definitely a nice axe and I like it on its own, but I also agree it doesn't fit with the toy. To me it says Animated Grimlock (or maybe MP Grimlock)a lot more than it says WFC Prime. It is just too shiny and detailed to go with a deluxe figure that has limited detailing. If the price is ... read more

its neat, and i like it, but i dont want it for previously mentioned reasons. for those interested, this is what i do for my WFC Prime: tuck the hand into the forearm as per transformation, and insert Chopster (in axe mode, of course) into the fist hole. viola, Neo-G1 Prime axe!

Mastermind Creations have released details and images on their R-31 Ater Beta and R-32 Stray action figure releases. A look at both figures in their robot and alternate modes along with details on the weapons and other features with links to the pre-orders, after the jump.
Fans Toys has put out some teaser images for their FT-30, which will be a new take on a large-scale Superion combiner, starting with FT-30A, their (as yet name-unrevealed) unofficial Silverbolt. The other Aerialbots are represented in the defocused background for proof of concept, but what we get to see is an overview of the core robot in both modes, and at this stage the design looks pretty nice with a strong following to the animation. Not too much detail can be pulled from this quite yet, but it looks like we'll have another project to keep watch on for a while. Click through to see all the images mirrored from Fans Toys' Weibo.
This week on Radio Free Cybertron: It's November and the holidays are on the way! We start off the show with two ways that you can help kids in need! Please consider this year's Extra Life videogame stream and/or our annual toy drive--this year dubbed "The Last Knight Before Christmas!" We share details! Also on the show Fansproject is seemingly back from the brink with the missing Dinobot from their Lost Exo Realm line! Plus we have details on HASCON 2019 (yes, 2019), hands on details with new Takara Tomy Legends toys and way more on this week's Radio Free Cybertron!

Dr Wu has some new upcoming products to show off via Weibo. First is ASURA, an upgrade package for Masterpiece Megatron. It consists of a sword (in one of two color styles), a mini camera mode Reflector, and a Cybertronic set of binoculars that come in one of two colorations like the sword. The HOME set is a system of interlocking base plates in the general style of the always-popular Mechanical Chain Bases, where you can make a basic environment for your toys - provided you buy enough sets. We've mirrored the pictures of both, keep reading to see!
Alien Attack Toys is currently notable for their figure Firage, based on the never-had-an-original-mold Dark of The Moon character Dino (referred as Mirage in some materials). Now they're taking another shot at the movies and presenting El Cid, their take on Optimus Prime as he appeared in the two most recent movies. The robot is said to be a bit over 10 inches tall, and a side by side with MPM-3 Bumblebee shows the two scale with each other pretty well - though it may work just as well to fit in with normal movie toys also. We've got the photos mirrored from Weibo, click through and have a look.
