The Hasbro's PR department sent this out today to TF Web sites:
"First, we want you to know how much we appreciate the passion of the many TRANSFORMERS fan sites available on the Internet. While we understand that there may be competition amongst certain sites, it is the goal of Hasbro and the TRANSFORMERS brand to provide timely information to all sites on an even-handed basis.
For this reason, Hasbro public relations is the information source for all TRANSFORMERS sites. Aaron Archer and other members of the Transformers marketing/design team will no longer post on websites, as we all understand the importance of equal access for all TRANSFORMERS sites. Aaron is fully onboard with this decision, allowing him to focus on designing great TRANSFORMERS toys, while Hasbro public relations will continue to focus toward servicing the sites on a regular basis.
Hasbro understands that there has been some misunderstanding about this decision in the TRANSFORMERS fan community. Please be assured that Hasbro's decision in this regard was made for the benefit of the TRANSFORMERS brand as well as the fan community as a whole. It was not the result of any complaint from any individual website.
Keep posted as we make www.transformers.com a central place for fans to go for official and accurate information. It is our hope that any personal back and forth between the fan site cease, with time and energy focused on the reason your sites were born in the first place - your love of the TRANSFORMERS brand."
We feel this states the true facts from the source. I stand by these facts that our dealing's with Hasbro are unrelated to such events. I deeply regret that this situation has been used as a way to attack others and that the community has been impacted by this. If you are angry, I can only ask that you not attack or scrutinize anyone over this and exercise compassion and understanding where there is no logic to support this situation. I will not fire back at anyone over this. I nor TFormers have anything more to say about this and I hope we can all move on with our daily lives now. I want to thank all the people at Hasbro and fans everywhere for their on-going support and encouragement.

Oh, well that just explains everything, doesn't it? I still haven't got a clue what was going on.
Is Archer the guy responsible for Energon, and in particular, Voltronimus Prime? If he is, I have a few choice words for Hasbro about his 'great' toys... only they all be blocked by the Tformer's oscenity filter.
Weyall, back to business as usual then, none the wiser but still shooting our mouths off about it...

Scorponok looks okay, and so does Skyblast, Hot Shot, and Inferno. It's a good thing that Optimus Prime is really ugly in the Energon line (like the Superbase Prime in Armada) because that way, more attention can be allotted to other characters.

I don't care who's responsible for what, I'm just glad this mess is over. Yeah, it's disappointing that Aaron won't be keeping us posted, and I admit I don't have a lot of faith in Hasbro. Still, between getting Alternators and some of the Energon figures, there's reason enough to move on, as far as I'm concerned.
Besides, too much divisiveness among fans is what turned me off to a couple franchises already...I'm into it 'cause I enjoy it. I'm not saying you have to like what's happened, 'cause I don't either. But it's not the end of the world, folks.

First off I'm not a BIG FAN of HASBLO.
A horribly mismanaged company much like toys R us. Their brilliant lines like Armada and Energon.
Here's a hint... LET IT DIE ALREADY!!
With each crappy revamp the 80's original stands out in our minds more and more as not only being unique, but entertaining and intelligent.
The original was BAR NONE the best and always will be.
If hasblo was smart and they're not... They would rerelease the original TF and Gijoe back on syndicated television for the next generation and get the episodes not shown in the US dubbed by the ORIGINAL REMAINING ACTORS like Peter Cullen( Optimus) who now does voice overs for the cartoon network. Hasblo pulling rank from our much beloved site won't hurt the news any. HASBLO YOU SUCK! Takara is the much better of the two ,a company who actually respects their products. The Hasblo of the 80's is long gone.
Eventually they'll have to do something to save their skin as the abomination of George "Limey" Lucas can't save them with the crap they call star wars!!! The best way they can save themselves is to A.) either fire the idiots doing the new tf stuff, (yeah! and pigs will fly!), or B.) Let the us licensing Rights die and let Takara take them back!
Here's an idea for all you higher up "creative" dolts at HASBLO. COME UP WITH SOME NEW IDEAS EVERYONE WILL LIKE OUTSIDE OF THE THINGS WE ALL KNOW THAT YOU"VE SUCKED THE LIFE AND ENJOYMENT OUT OF!!!!!
Hope you all can agree with me!
See Ya!

Hmm. I didn't think that good profits came from a company that sucked.
And to borrow a quote from Machina over at Transfandom:
We b**ch because a toy is made for kids. Think about that.
