Transformers Movie Details Rumored
Visitor - Monday, March 08, 2004

We have recieved some rumors from an informer close to Angry films that give us some rough insights on the Transformers Movie. According to the informer, the film is progressing but may now be scheduled for release in 2006. The design work began in November, one studio may be close to signing and more below.

"[information edited] ... anyway, the person who we deal with, has let us know about a few things concerning the new movie as we couldnt help but ask.

1.The film wont be ready until at least late 2006, most likely a December release. It is likely to go head to head with the first Simpsons feature film.

2.The people working on the movie have contacted only two of the old voice cast, one believed to be Frank Welker, the other Peter Cullen, i dont know that for sure but that is who I think it is. They want at least one big name star to voice a supporting role in the film. There is also an idea for two fairly big names to be cast as the main humans.

3.James Cameron has no interest in directing the movie.

4.Concept drawings for the film began November 2003. The informer has not seen the drawings for himself.

5.The producers are close to a deal with two studios, one is rumoured to be New Line.

That is all I was told, I thought I should pass this information onto yourselves, I am doubtful myself as to if all this is true but it was nice to hear some decent rumours as it seems to have gone awful quiet of late concerning the film."

Discuss this as well as any other rumblings about the upcoming live action movie HERE at Tfans!

NOTE: This is information is speculative and has not been confirmed by any official souce at this time.

Chevrolet Japan has published its company newsletter, and there's a fairly lengthy feature about MPM-3 Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee within. Lead designer Yuya Onishi talks about the figure, due out in Japan on July 15th, and the fact that it apparently uses a fair amount of diecast metal largely to the demands of overseas fans. Keep reading for a mechanically-translated transcript of the feature and a photo!
From Sunson Son on Facebook, by way of TFW2005, we have photos of a life-sized, metal replica of the Autobot Matrix of Leadership as seen in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen! The only other thing we currently know about this replica, which is being produced by a company known as Visual Time Collectibles, is that it will be limited to a run of 350 pieces. Which, given what high-end Transformers movie collectibles tend to run price-wise, is probably going to be plenty. Keep reading to see!
As one Transformers movie news cycle begins to wind down, the next one kicks in to gear. Screen Rant has already been talking about next year's Bumblebee prequel movie with producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura. Perhaps the most interesting piece of this is a change of language, now addressing the 2019 release for "Transformers 6" as a "hope" more than a plan. Might this change of attitude be a response to the surely lower than anticipated performance of The Last Knight in its opening day? Keep reading for more!
Following up on yesterday's magazine leak, TakaraTomy has put up a page and photos for MB-EX Movie The Best Laserbeak! Replicating a scene from Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, the site confirms that the figure is a Wonderfes exclusive with leftovers hitting Cybertron Satellite stores and TakaraTomy Mall in September. None of which ship overseas. So keep reading and, again, get ready to contact your middleman in Japan!
It's magazine scans season, and we've got our first scoop. Wonderfest is coming at the end of July! And that means more exclusives - in this case, a pink Bumblebee figure to recreate a scene featuring Laserbeak from Dark Of The Moon that, quite frankly, I can't remember at all. Keep reading to see the photo while I congratulate myself on successfully blocking out one of these films!
