Transformers Movie Details Rumored
Visitor - Monday, March 08, 2004

We have recieved some rumors from an informer close to Angry films that give us some rough insights on the Transformers Movie. According to the informer, the film is progressing but may now be scheduled for release in 2006. The design work began in November, one studio may be close to signing and more below.

"[information edited] ... anyway, the person who we deal with, has let us know about a few things concerning the new movie as we couldnt help but ask.

1.The film wont be ready until at least late 2006, most likely a December release. It is likely to go head to head with the first Simpsons feature film.

2.The people working on the movie have contacted only two of the old voice cast, one believed to be Frank Welker, the other Peter Cullen, i dont know that for sure but that is who I think it is. They want at least one big name star to voice a supporting role in the film. There is also an idea for two fairly big names to be cast as the main humans.

3.James Cameron has no interest in directing the movie.

4.Concept drawings for the film began November 2003. The informer has not seen the drawings for himself.

5.The producers are close to a deal with two studios, one is rumoured to be New Line.

That is all I was told, I thought I should pass this information onto yourselves, I am doubtful myself as to if all this is true but it was nice to hear some decent rumours as it seems to have gone awful quiet of late concerning the film."

Discuss this as well as any other rumblings about the upcoming live action movie HERE at Tfans!

NOTE: This is information is speculative and has not been confirmed by any official souce at this time.

The new release of 2007's Leader Class movie Optimus Prime under the Transformers Tribute subline is now available for purchase in the US via Amazon. Like the Orion/Optimus Evolution 2 pack before it, this is apparently an Amazon exclusive. But, unlike the very unexpectedly reasonable price point of the 2 pack, Leader Optimus is currently listed at $79.99. But of course that does mean it qualifies for free shipping whether or not you're an Amazon Prime member. Is the very first movie Optimus with a fancy updated deco worth that to you? If so, hit the link in the full post below, and keep reading for a set of new stock photos of the toy.

Hailee Steinfeld, the first confirmed cast member and lead character in the upcoming Transformers Universe: Bumblebee, has shared on social media a quick behind the scenes photo of herself in wardrobe. On the instagram post, the photo has the caption, "Meet Charlie Watson", revealing to us the name of her character. Bumblebee recently boasted the addition of John Cena in a starring role, on the same day it was made known the movie's debut had been pushed back to December of 2018 from its original June premiere. Confirming a job listing by Boulder Media earlier this week and long-ago reports of plans stemming from the fables TFCU Writers' Room, Hasbro announced in today's investor meeting that a CGI Transformers movie is in the works! Set in the current film continuity but with no firm release date, it is part of a larger commitment by Hasbro to release one animated movie a year. Keep reading for details!
They say truth is stranger than fiction, and when word comes down the pipe from Variety that the "Bumblebee" movie will be going head to head with "Aquaman" in the theaters, it is not hard to hear the echo from Big Bang Theory: "Aquaman Sucks!" Sure, good for a laugh. But there's a certain irony here that is more than Meets the Eye. Arguably, these franchise characters both share a sort of disdain from the fandom, followed by an intense puzzlement as to why they are being forced into the spotlight, regardless of the uproar from fans.
WWE pro wrestler and occasional meme John Cena has been cast in a lead role in the Bumblebee movie, per Hollywood Reporter. Cena's part is unspecified, but we do have a synopsis of the film, which begins shooting today! So, are your hopes for the film increased, decreased or unchanged with this addition? Keep reading for more details and then let us know in the forums!
