Wonderfest 2017 Winter - LG-EX Legends Headmaster Comic Released & They're Giving That Clear Prime Away Again
RAC - Thursday, February 16, 2017

Wonder Festival 2017 Winter is this weekend in Japan, and to celebrate TakaraTomy is giving away yet another run of that clear plastic (old) Legends scale Optimus Prime, which by now has to be the least rare and least exclusive rare exclusive in history. They've also released the tie-in comic for the LG-EX Headmasters set which will debut at Wonderfest and go on to be sold at Cybertron Satellite stores in Japan. The comic introduces a new concept: Double Headmasters. Keep reading for more info!
In the context of the comic, a Double Headmaster is when a Transtector for one of the LG-EX Headmasters transformers into robot mode and one of the two Headmaster/Titan Master figures stays in the vehicle mode cockpit to... some kind of benefit? Maybe a translation of the comic would be useful here. But at least the comic points out something important: between the Babyseat Cannon and the actual driver/pilot compartment, you will always have place for both heads in both modes.

On the contest front, if you're in Japan there's a hashtag you can Tweet in the image to take a shot at winning one of those clear Primes if you don't have one already. There's also a shot at winning Movie The Best MB-11 Optimus Prime!

Loopaza Mega Store has posted new images from Figure King magazine showing off LG-43 Dinosaurer, AKA Trypticon! Primarily, we've got some good news for importers: unless you really like the idea of the interior of Trypticon's mouth being painted purple, there's virtually no reason to import this one. Keep reading to take a look at a deco that's extremely similar to the US release!
Japanese fan omochasouko02 has shared the result of an incredibly impressive customization project on Twitter. Taking Combiner Wars Rook and adding a lot of remodeling, the result is a fully transformable cab robot that fits in the Super Ginrai body and works with the vehicle mode. Plus the Ginrai Titan Master was modified as well to act as the Godmaster engine. You'll definitely want to check out the mirrored Twitter photos and the customizer's photo blog featuring even more - including the surprising place the Super Ginrai head goes when not in use. Click through for gallery and link!
The official TakaraTomy website has posted a new promotional image for Legends Dinosaurer, the Japanese equivalent of Titans Return Titan Class Trypticon! The promo image doesn't feature much in the way of discernible differences from the Hasbro release, though it seems possible that Full-Tilt has a more involved deco than we've seen on him so far. Keep reading to see the image!
The official TakaraTomy PR account has posted an image of Dinosaurer - who we know better as Trypticon - fighting it out with Metroflex, AKA Metroplex! From the angle and Metroplex's bent knees we can indeed confirm that he is taller than LG-43. But man, look at how beefy Trypticon looks next to him! Click through to see the image mirrored here!
Man, it's going to be neat to see what TakaraTomy does with this one, huh? Action Robo's Facebook page has posted a listing for LG-43 Dinosaurer, AKA Trypticon, as a late August release costing 25,000 Yen, or roughly $223 USD by current exchange rates. Keep reading to see the listing (in Japanese)!
