More MasterPiece News
Coming from our forums over this past weekend, Kool Kollectibles on Youtube has a video out for Masterpiece Grapple. This review keeps it quick and to the point, going over the unique features and parts for the retool of Masterpiece Inferno, as well as giving a good side by side comparison of both versions of the mold to highlight the considerable degree of alterations underwent in becoming Grapple. We have the video embedded below, click through to watch!
If you were a fan of OcularMax's Backdraft figure and were hoping for the chance to get an Artfire from their Inferno mold, good news! The company has begun a crowdfunding campaign for Kojin, their Perfection Series take on Artfire. The stretch goals are rather nice too - for certain production thresholds, the price of the figure will actually be reduced for all buyers! And at the highest tier of stretch goal, each backer will receive a second Nightbeam in clear plastic. Keep reading for more details and photos!
On the RFC Reviews Youtube channel, diecast has posted a new video tonight for Masterpiece Cheetor, the second entry in TakaraTomy's Masterpiece Beast Wars line. Get a look at the features and articulation of both modes, and of course the transformation process that somehow makes the magic of mid-1990's CGI function in reality! The video is embedded below, click through now to watch!
This week on Radio Free Cybertron: We have lots of new toys in-hand! Brian talks about Masterpiece Grapple, Masterpiece Cheetor, and Leo Prime! Also we talk about Legends Trypticon, Movie Masterpiece Optimus Prime, a new Transformers convention is on the way, a new third party NOT Road Caesar, and way, way, way, way more!

Youtube user Rob A has released what we believe to be the first English language video review for Masterpiece Cheetor, which has just been released in Japan this past weekend. The video goes in to some fair depth on the figure, clocking in at over half an hour. There's a lengthy segment on the transformation, so if you want to keep that as a surprise, once it starts you can jump forward to about 21:55 for the start of the robot mode segment. You can watch the video right now, embedded in the full article below.
