Transformers Animatronics - The Exhibition Coming 11 March - 28 May 2017, Red Roman Shed
Transformers brought to life
From March to May 2017 Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee and the Rescue Bots will invade the African continent for the first time in Transformers Animatronics at Emperors Palace. Following a massively successful Latin American tour, visitors can look forward to breath-taking sculptures, made from wrecked cars, on display against the scenery of the legendary planet, Cybertron, that will be brought to life through eye-popping performance technology.
Transformers Animatronics is a unique event based on the popular Hasbro saga that has broken box office records for both movies and television. And now it will head to Emperors Palace with a spectacular display that has been enjoyed by millions of people on tour across the globe. This travelling exhibition of international standards will feature 12 animated Transformers, 9 sculptures scaled between and 2m and 11m made from car parts, and a further 20 statues varying in size. In addition, an impressive arsenal of weapons used by the Transformers characters will also be showcased. Young and old will immerse themselves in the incredible universe of Optimus Prime and his companions, from its origins in the world of comics to the television series and blockbuster movies. Autobots and Decepticons will also feature prominently, accompanied by the latest Dino Bots and famous Rescue Bots, the famed pre-school series that has expanded the Transformers fan base.

Via Imaginarium Art we have some photos of a new release coming up, featuring Starscream in his coronation gear from the original Transformers: The Movie. Starscream is posed seated on a throne ...made of missiles? It seems an odd choice in home furnishings, but perhaps alien robots have different sensibilities. The new statue is marked as a "build to order" item, but with a production run limit of 400 pieces. It's available from sponsor BigBadToyStore now as a preorder for $1199.99. Click through to see all the photos!
The final mystery is revealed as Baron Ironblood reveals his true identity! Only by teaming with Transformers leader Optimus Prime do the Revolutionaries have a chance to save Earth—and the whole Hasbro universe! The senses-shattering conclusion to Revolutionaries leads directly into next month’s massive crossover event
Twitter user @miiakira2017 has once again posted some new G1 design sketches! This time, it's for a pretty interesting footnote in Transformers history: an unproduced Transformers Personal Organizer! The book would've had a few real pages, backed by a stack of dummy pages that then turned into a robot. Autobot and Decepticon versions were designed with slightly different surface details for each. Keep reading to see!
Thanks to @miiakira2017 on Twitter we have even more looks at early Transformers concept designs from Japan. These are more even more fantastic than before with looks at two different base concepts.
The first is what looks like a transforming case that is a mock mountain that opens up to reveal a multi-teir base with all kinds of ramps, ladders, weapons and what appears to be Sky Spy type probe. The other is much more Diaclone looking with a big carrier type base with tiny-looking tank treads to indicate scale.
