While in the US we were giving most of our attention to San Diego Comic Con over the course of last week, Japan was getting its unique edition of Leader Class Optimus Prime in TakaraTomy's The Last Knight series. We have a nice video from wotafa on Youtube that, while in Japanese, very clearly demonstrates the toy, including the shield that is the focal point of its changes from the prior releases. One point proved in this review is that the shield can remain unpartsformed as a backpack if so desired, and in doing is a bit more tidy than the original version of the toy still.
