Steelbane, Sqweeks, Drift, & Slug - In-Hand Gallery Of Transformers: The Last Knight Premier Wave 2 Deluxes
Chinese language news site Toy-People has posted an extensive gallery of Transformers The Last Knight
Deluxe Wave 2! The standouts are, unsurprisingly, the two new molds, Steelbane and Sqweeks. In particular, this is the best look we've had at Steelbane so far, and he's quite nice-looking in both modes! But Drift and Slug are both looking pretty good as well - red is a great color for Drift in particular. Keep reading to see the gallery, mirrored here for your convenience!
is a redeco of the Age of Extinction
Deluxe, trading in the purples for a silver and gold deco that reminds us of nothing so much as the Strike Freedom Gundam.
Strike Freedom's gold joints rarely worked well in toy form, but Slug is looking decent.
is now a Mercedes - quite a downgrade from the Bugatti from TF4. But again, red and black works great for him. Especially the red in robot mode. The robot mode remains the same from AoE, but of course the vehicle mode is entirely new.
is an adorable little scooter that's probably roughly in scale with 6" Marvel Legends (the figures shown are 3.75"). He comes with a trailer that essentially unfolds into a repair bay full of weapons - a gimmick we love to see but don't get to see half enough.
is the only figure who doesn't have to have his affiliation before his name for trademark purposes. That said, his package IDs him as an Autobot, giving us a Decepticonless wave. He looks pretty sharp in both knight and dragon modes.
