Michael Bay Confirms - Transformers: The Last Knight Is his Fourth Final Movie In The Franchise
RAC - Saturday, June 17, 2017

Movie website Fandango has interviewed director Michael Bay about his plans for the future, and they once again do not include another Transformers film. This is the fourth time Bay has made this declaration, having recanted after Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon, and Age of Extinction - frequently citing an admirable desire to keep his crew together and keep them getting paid. Keep reading for a link to the full interview and the relevant quote!
"These movies that I've done, they are massive movies. They take a lot out of you," Bay said when we asked if he was finally -- for real, this time -- stepping away from the Transformers franchise. "I've done it enough, and I've had a great time doing it. I'm going out with a bang on this one, and I feel like you gotta go out while you're ahead, you know. I think I've had a good run, and I've got a lot of other movies I want to do."

The interview was part III of a "Past, Present, Future" triptych of interviews with Bay discussing his career. Transformers: The Last Knight hits theaters this Tuesday night.

Those curious to see a Transformers movie not directed by Mr. Bay will not need to wait to see if he's in earnest this time: Travis Knight, director of Kubo & The Two Strings, will be helming the Bumblebee movie due out next summer.

Regardless of whether or not he continues with the Transformers movie series, we at TFormers wish Mr. Bay and his film crew the best in all their future projects.

The results are in for the 38th Golden Raspberry Awards. Transformers: The Last Knight carried nominations in several categories, surely to the surprise of no one who was actually paying attention. But despite all its charms, TLK was up against some tough competition, especially from the incredibly ill-conceived Emoji Movie. The results can either be seen as an affirmation of victory over anyone trying to highlight its flaws, or a crushing blow that it wasn't even bad enough to win here, but The Last Knight walked away without taking a single raspberry. If you're interested in the complete results, you can check out the video below.
Weibo user NOTRAB has posted a gallery of upcoming Studio Series Leader class Grimlock! The new-mold figure is a significant visual upgrade compared to the original 2014 Leader mold. While we might wish for more color, we can't rightly pin that on Hasbro as these figures are designed to be as screen-accurate as they can possibly be. Hollywood wants to love the the fans, they really really do. But they don't seem to know how when they keep putting too many humans in robot movies. Five movies on, they have literally run this franchise over a cliff. Knights, Unicron horns and even Cogman couldn't save them, It made $500 Million, but raked in a lot the slag with it. The legendary fan force that is Screen Junkies. Takes aim at TLK with their barrel fusion-cannons. Leaving a steaming pile of bashes, laughing all the way.
