LG-EX Legends God Ginrai With Minerva & Cab - Official Photos Of Controversially Shiny Figure
RAC - Monday, June 19, 2017

So, you just finished spending about two hundred bucks on LG-35 Super Ginrai and LG-42 Godbomber. Want Headmaster/Titan Master figures of Minerva and Cab, and maybe some chrome for Godbomber's chest? Hope you're prepared to do it again! TakaraTomy has posted the first color images of the LG-EX set, scheduled for November and open for preorder now. Keep reading to see!
The official price given on the TakaraTomy Mall website is 17,280 Yen, which might even be a little cheaper than the two figures were at individual retail. Argh!

Meanwhile, if you're down to spend two hundred bucks on a God Ginrai and want to get two bonus figures each of the Titan Master, Legends, Deluxe, and Voyager classes, the Titans Return Siege on Cybertron set is due out any day now with Magnus Prime, who uses the Super Ginrai variant of the Powermaster Optimus Prime mold. Godbomber has not yet been annnounced, but we have two more multipacks planned with Leader slots available, and why would you release the Ginrai mold in the US if not to make God Ginrai available to the rest of the world?

Ginrai is the human character who, in the Japanese Transformers cartoon sequel Super-God Masterforce, inherited the "transtector" - non-sentient Transformer body - which was originally intended to be used by Optimus Prime. The Japanese Godmasters were the equivalent of the US Powermasters, and Ginrai the human was the Hi-Q figure. Super Ginrai was the combined mode of Powermaster Optimus Prime and his trailer, and God Ginrai was the combination of Super Ginrai and Godbomber, who was not available in the US until the "Powermaster Optimus Prime with Apex Armor" reissue in the early 2000s. You can pre-order this figure now at BigBadToyStore.com.

LG-EX Grand Maximus is a recolor of LG-31 Fortress Maximus which was an exclusive Japanese recolor from the original Super God Masterforce cartoon. Grand Maximus includes his god master sword, Maximus figure, Grand Headmaster and headmaster head plus weapons! Grand Maximus has 3 different modes of transformation:Base Mode, Battleship Mode and Robot Mode! If enough preorders are booked by Takara they will include an exclusive Grand Pretender Suit with this piece! Read on for full details.
Our latest gallery offering for you is TakaraTomy's Legends LG46 Targetmaster Kup. Most prominently featuring the second of the brand new Targetmaster figures, representing Kup's partner Recoil. Recoil is notable for being almost all new parts as compared to Firebolt, with just the thighs being common between them. Kup also sports retooled parts, with most of the arms being replaced with more cartoon-accurate rounded pieces. The face piece is also completely new and aims for a cartoon inspiration. Plus Kup has a new, more involved-looking deco that favors media appearances more than the Hasbro version. We have over 200 photos of the toy ready to view, with quick-jump links to specific parts of the gallery. Click through to get started!
We brought you the first word last night that the LG-EX Grand Maximus exclusive would feature a bonus Titan Master Pretender shell based on Power of The Primes tooling if at least 3000 preorders were received. But there was yet more hidden in the promotional copy that we've found out since then - one of which calls the toy itself in to question! Keep reading to find out more!

TakaraTomy Mall has activated the sale page for Greatshot, the rather unexpected retool of Leader Class Sixshot representing the character from Transformers Victory. Greatshot features several new parts, including the chest, helmet, tops of the shoulders, and the wolf head has been changed for a rhino head. The Headmaster component features use of the Hasbro "Revolver" tooling, making its debut in Japan as Sixshot features a brand new Headmaster mold in the Legends Series. Like Grand Maximus, Greatshot is due to ship in late March, 2018. Keep reading to see the pictures!
The advertising banners went out a little early today, but as of noon Japan time, TakaraTomy Mall has launched preorders for Grand Maximus, giving us access to the stock photos for the first ever Titan Class new-character recolor. Grand Maximus seems to not feature any new tooling, but subsequent information from official sources seems to back up our interpretation that the Pretender shell for the Titan Master will be made available as a bonus item if at least 3000 preorders are received for Grand Maximus.
