We'd heard previously that Hasbro subsidiary Wizards of the Coast - the gaming company behind
Magic: The Gathering and current publisher of
Dungeons & Dragons - would be attempting a new Transformers trading card game sometime this year. Today, UK site
Total Cards has put up the first images and preorders for the new game in the form of an Autobots Starter Deck and the first wave of boosters. Keep reading for more information!

The official Transformers Instagram account has posted a brief slideshow showing off the development history of
Power of the Primes Legends class Dinobot Slash! Showing the concept art, prototype, and final official photography, Slash is shown with a pair of thematically-appropriate short swords in the concept art - and while we're sad those didn't cost out it's not a very normal thing for Legends to ship with weapons anymore. Amazon has added the finalized stock photos to their listing for Power of The Primes Optimal Optimus, the final new Leader mold coming our way in the current iteration of Generations. Optimus Primal was the winning character when Hasbro asked the community to vote for a new leader character last year, and we got our first glimpse at the design work during the first HasCon event in Rhode Island. While much of what the toy can do is shown in the newest round of stock photos, the actual flight mode is still omitted, so far only having been confirmed through TakaraTomy photography. Also omitted are some critical paint operations on Optimus Primal's face, unfortunately. You can see that and more in the gallery below!
Simon Chan of the
Hobbymizer Hong Kong Discuss Facebook group has posted images of the latest issue of
Figure King magazine! Within are images of the Predacons, their combined form of
Power of the Primes Titan Class Predaking, and some design images of Predaking to boot! As camera shots as opposed to scans the quality isn't spectacular - but it's something to look forward to as better images come later on. Keep reading to see!
